Robinson Family History brings together the histories of the Robinson, Burbidge, Chadwick and Summers families, together with the many families connected to them through marriage and descent. Their origins lie in Britain, Ireland, Europe and India. Some branches travelled to India, while others began there. From these varied beginnings, the families spread through India, Burma, Africa, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.

The site contains family narratives, historical articles, photographs, documents, oral histories and research guides. It is intended for members of the families and for anyone interested in family history, migration, working lives and the recovery of ordinary people from the historical record. The Genealogy section provides access to the family tree and the records on which much of the research is based.
